Kroot Hunting Pack Combat Patrol – Apex Hunters of the T'au Empire

The Kroot are pledged to the T'au Empire but often operate in independent hunting parties that range far ahead of the main forces. They wield weapons unique to their culture, blending traditional hunting methods with advanced technology and providing the T'au with deadly melee specialists. “Kroot” is a broad term encompassing many creatures, from massive Krootox beasts to swift and agile Kroot Hounds.

Prepare for the hunt

This packed box is the perfect way to start a Kroot-themed T'au Empire collection or expand an existing army while saving money compared to buying the kits individually.

The force is led from the front by a Kroot Lone-spear riding a reptilian Kalamandra. Charging behind him are Krootox Rampagers, elite melee line-breakers built for brutal assaults. The core of the army is formed by a Farstalker Kinband, deadly hunters and versatile warriors capable of capturing and holding key objectives. Heavy fire support is provided by a Krootox Rider armed with powerful weaponry.

Together, these 17 plastic miniatures form a complete T'au Empire force for intense and tactical Combat Patrol games of Warhammer 40,000. Rules for this Combat Patrol are available as a free download from the Warhammer Community website.

Customisation Options

Kroot Lone-spear
May be armed with a massive Kroot long gun for long-range hunting or an explosive blast javelin and razor-tipped hunting javelins for close engagements. Includes two head options and multiple head and pose options for the Kalamandra.

Krootox Rider
May carry either a rapid-fire repeater cannon or a tanglecannon. Both rider and mount include two head options.

Krootox Rampagers
One model includes two head options for both rider and mount, with a choice of pistol or blade. Another rider may choose between a blade or an axe.

Farstalker Kinband
A highly versatile unit. The Kill-broker leader may be armed with a Farstalker firearm or a T'au-tech rifle. Six warriors may choose between two different firearms, one can be equipped for melee, one may take a Pech'ra, and another may wield a Dvorgite skinner or Londaxi tribalest. Includes 13 interchangeable heads, 13 optional accessories, and interchangeable Kroot Hound heads.
