ORKS: PAINBOY

A Painboy is never far from blood, explosions, and the most horrifying scenes on the battlefield. Where other armies see catastrophic injuries, a Painboy sees exciting opportunities to improve his patients with more metal parts, larger weapons, and highly questionable surgical experiments.

They happily throw themselves at wounded Orks to weld on replacement limbs, repair shattered faces, or attach a brand-new flame-spewing arm to some fortunate Warboss. After all, pain is mostly a problem for those who survive long enough to complain about it.

Painboys learn their craft through a mixture of brutal experience, reckless experimentation, and the ancient principles of “Orky know-wotz”. The results are rarely elegant – but usually effective enough to send Boyz charging back into battle once again.

At the Painboy’s side scurries a small Grot assistant carrying tools, spare parts, and assorted “medical” equipment while desperately trying to avoid ending up on the operating table himself.

The kit includes parts to build a Painboy and Grot assistant along with classic Orky medical gear such as the infamous ’Urty syringe.

The Painboy works exceptionally well as a support character in offensive Ork armies for Warhammer 40K and pairs especially well with Boyz, Nobz, and other aggressive melee units.

On the Battlefield

The Painboy provides support, durability, and brutal Orky battlefield medicine for frontline troops.

He works especially well in Ork armies for Warhammer 40K focused on massive assault waves, close combat, and aggressive frontline units.
