TYRANIDS: PSYCHOPHAGE

Psychophages are monstrous Tyranid bioforms driven by an insatiable hunger for psychic energy. These grotesque beasts charge across the battlefield devouring anything in their path, but they particularly favour prey with psychic abilities.

How the creature metabolises such esoteric energies remains unknown, but the results are catastrophic for its victims. After consuming psychic prey, the Psychophage releases corrosive psychic ash capable of destroying both mind and soul.

This terrifying bioform stands atop six talon-tipped limbs and is dominated by a gigantic maw filled with jaws, fangs, and barbed tentacles. Its bloated body is covered in digestive sacs and dorsal chimneys that spew spores across the battlefield.

The Psychophage works exceptionally well in Tyranid armies for Warhammer 40K focused on monster bioforms, psychic dominance, and aggressive frontline assaults.
