TYRANIDS: NEUROGAUNTS

Neurogaunts scuttle forward in dense swarms driven by the parasitic neurocytes fused to their backs. Their primary purpose is to protect larger synaptic bioforms and relay the Hive Mind’s commands throughout the Tyranid swarm.

These strange eyeless creatures attack with needle-sharp claws and teeth while their spinal symbiotes channel synaptic signals to surrounding bioforms. Neurogaunts hurl themselves at the enemy with mindless ferocity, sacrificing themselves without hesitation to shield larger monsters and commanders.
