TYRANIDS: BIOVORE / PYROVORE

Biovores are biological artillery bioforms that carry explosive Spore Mines nurtured within their own bodies. Once anchored to the ground using chitinous spurs, a Biovore unleashes violent spasms that launch living ammunition in high arcs across the battlefield.

The gas-filled Spore Mines explode in clouds of acid and bone shards or drift slowly across the battlefield until enemies draw too close. This combination of indirect fire and biological terror makes Biovores highly effective support organisms for Tyranid swarms.

The set includes multiple posing options and three distinct Spore Mine designs to provide visual variety in larger Tyranid broods.

On the Battlefield

Biovores provide biological indirect fire and saturate the battlefield with explosive Spore Mines.

They work especially well in Tyranid armies for Warhammer 40K focused on area denial, artillery support, and swarm tactics.
