SPACE MARINES: STORMHAWK / STORMTALON INTERCEPTOR

Stormhawk Interceptor is a Space Marine aircraft in Warhammer 40,000. These fast war machines descend from orbiting warships to strike enemy forces with devastating speed and firepower.

The Stormhawk platform is designed to engage both aerial and ground targets, though its variants specialise in different battlefield roles.

The Stormhawk Interceptor is primarily built for air superiority, hunting down enemy aircraft with speed, armour, and powerful weapons.

The alternative Stormtalon Gunship variant focuses more on ground attack and close air support, striking enemy armour and fortified positions while supporting advancing Space Marine forces.

The Stormhawk is armed with a twin assault cannon and a las-talon, which can be replaced with an icarus stormcannon. It also carries twin heavy bolters, which can instead be replaced with either a skyhammer missile launcher or a typhoon missile launcher. An infernum halo-launcher provides additional protection against incoming fire.

ON THE BATTLEFIELD

Stormhawk Interceptors are used to establish air superiority over the battlefield.

Their speed and firepower allow them to intercept enemy aircraft and destroy them before they can threaten Space Marine ground forces. At the same time, they retain the ability to engage targets on the ground when required.

Stormtalon Gunships are commonly used for close air support, delivering precise and devastating firepower against enemy positions where Space Marines need it most.
