Origin Story (ENG)

Origin Story is a dynamic, interactive, tableau-building trick-taking game. Players add one story card each round to their own personal comic-book style mat, enhancing their superhero's trick-taking prowess with each charged power. The abilities add lots of creative and sometimes hilarious decisions and effects to standard must-follow trick-taking.

There are solo and 2-player modes, which are often lacking in trick-taking games. At 5, this plays in only 45 minutes. Origin Story requires minimal tabletop space and is colorblind friendly. 

Contained in the very compact box (7.67 x 5.9 x 2.36 in) is a ton of replayable content:

• 5 hero-or-villain alignment/VP dials
• 64 story cards
• 52 playing cards
• 18 event cards
• 10 superhero/reference cards
• 36 stamina tokens
• 1 dealer token
• 22 Automa solo mode cards 

This is designed as a reversible box! You'll see both covers above. This doesn't work for retail, of course, so we included a piece of paper as the "back of box" underneath the shrinkwrap, which can be removed by the customer. There is a small dot of glue holding it in place.
