HORUS HERESY: SKITARII BATTLE-PILGRYM CORPUS
This plastic kit builds 16 Skitarii Battle-Pilgryms for Mechanicum armies in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. These cybernetically augmented warriors gather in sacred conclaves, each war formation led by an ordinator through whom the will of the marshal is carried. Their purpose is clear: to guard the domains of the Omnissiah and reclaim lost technologies before they fall into unworthy hands.
On the battlefield they serve as swift and hard-hitting infantry. Each warrior carries a voltlock arquebus, a formidable weapon capable of bringing down even heavily armoured foes. Their mechanical augmentations and reinforced armour make them unusually resilient, allowing them to endure the fiercest fighting while maintaining disciplined firing lines.
The unit can be assembled as a single formation or divided into two squads of eight models. Each squad may be led by an optional squad leader armed with a voltlock handgun and power sword.
These miniatures bear no allegiance-specific markings, allowing them to be fielded in any Mechanicum force – whether you revere the Emperor as the true Omnissiah or denounce him as a false prophet.
ON THE BATTLEFIELD
Skitarii Battle-Pilgryms excel as mobile marksmen within a Mechanicum army. Their voltlock arquebus weapons allow them to threaten even heavily armoured infantry at range, while their augmentations grant the durability needed to hold key firing positions.
They are often deployed to secure firing lanes, eliminate priority targets, and support the advance of Mechanicum forces across the battlefield.
