Legiones Astartes Assault Squad (MKVI) provides 10 fast-moving melee units with jump packs for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy.

Assault Squads are the rapid assault infantry of the Legiones Astartes, specialising in close combat and fast strikes behind enemy lines. Equipped for short-range fighting and fitted with jump packs, they can rapidly reposition and strike where the enemy is most vulnerable.

By soaring over terrain and fortifications, they reach their targets unhindered and crash into combat with devastating force. Their role is to disrupt enemy formations, eliminate priority targets, and create chaos within the opposing lines.

On the Battlefield

Assault Squads are ideal for aggressive tactics where mobility and tempo are key. They can quickly reach critical positions, pressure the enemy, and tie up dangerous units in melee combat.

Armed with chainswords and bolt pistols, they deliver a reliable mix of ranged and close combat capability, while their jump packs make them unpredictable and difficult to counter.
