HORUS HERESY: LEGIONES ASTARTES MKII TACTICAL SQUAD

Tactical Squads form the backbone of the Legiones Astartes and were the force through which the Imperium reconquered much of the galaxy during the Great Crusade. As a highly flexible unit, they are equally suited for offensive assaults and holding strategic positions.

Equipped with MKII ‘Crusade’ armour – once the pinnacle of Space Marine technology – these warriors wear suits that are void-sealed and radiation-shielded, built to endure extreme punishment. Despite its age, this armour was still widely used when the Horus Heresy began.

On the Battlefield

Tactical Squads are a reliable core unit capable of holding objectives, supporting other units, and delivering steady firepower with their bolters. They form the foundation of most armies and can be adapted to multiple roles depending on equipment and support.

Their flexibility makes them equally effective in defence and attack, and they integrate easily into more specialised formations.
