The Land Raider is regarded by many as the finest armoured fighting vehicle of its class in the Imperium’s arsenal and forms a cornerstone of the Legiones Astartes war machine. With its multi-layered composite armour and reinforced hull, it is almost impervious even to heavy weapons, designed as a sealed unit capable of resisting attack from any direction.

It is built to operate in almost any environment – from corrosive swamps to irradiated deserts – without any significant loss of performance. It can even function in hard vacuum, ensuring there is virtually no battlefield where its armoured wrath cannot be brought to bear.

On the Battlefield

The Land Raider Proteus serves both as a transport and a heavy combat platform. It can be assembled as a Proteus Carrier with a front assault ramp for delivering troops directly into combat, or as a Proteus Explorator equipped with a dozer blade for navigating difficult terrain.

With twin sponson-mounted lascannons and a choice of hull-mounted weapons, it delivers significant firepower while safely transporting its passengers.
