The Cerberus is a rare variant of the Spartan chassis used by the Legiones Astartes, designed to mount a prototype neutron laser projector along with the powerful reactors and shielding required to operate it.

This technology is only partially understood by the Mechanicum, yet its effectiveness is undeniable. The neutron laser can penetrate even the heaviest armour and disable enemy systems with bursts of radiation. Despite the toll it takes on its crew, the Cerberus is considered a necessary and feared weapon, capable of threatening even Titan-class targets.

On the Battlefield

The Cerberus is a heavy support unit designed to eliminate the toughest targets on the battlefield. Its neutron laser battery delivers exceptional armour-piercing capability, making it highly effective against vehicles and heavily armoured units.

Its sponsons provide additional firepower with options such as heavy bolters, heavy flamers, lascannons, or volkite culverins, allowing it to adapt to a variety of threats.
