DEATH GUARD: DEATHSHROUD BODYGUARD

Deathshroud Terminators are swollen with the rotten blessings of their plague god. They advance in ominous silence, an inevitable judgement upon their enemies – the will of Mortarion made manifest on the battlefield. With each swing of their massive scythes, they cut down foes in brutal, methodical strikes.

Encased in heavy Cataphractii armour and empowered by Nurgle’s gifts, they are incredibly difficult to stop. Each Deathshroud wields a corrupted manreaper – a massive scythe larger than the warrior itself – alongside a plaguespurt gauntlet that spews streams of disease and decay at close range.

On the Battlefield

Deathshroud Bodyguard are a durable elite melee unit.

They advance methodically, absorb damage, and engage enemy infantry in close combat using their manreapers. Their plaguespurt gauntlets allow them to affect targets at short range before charging.

They are effectively used to protect key characters and hold central objectives.
