Mortarion serves as a central anchor for your army.

He absorbs significant amounts of firepower that would otherwise destroy other units, advancing to engage and eliminate priority targets in melee with the plague-ridden scythe Silence. With his unique pistol Lantern, he can also threaten heavily armoured units at range.
