CITIES OF SIGMAR: FREEGUILD GALLANTS

Freeguild Gallants are foot knights and veteran warriors who choose to meet the enemy face-to-face rather than from horseback. With broad shields, ornate armour, and finely balanced weapons, they march as living symbols of discipline and courage within the Cities of Sigmar. Each Gallant bears their own heraldry and fighting style, yet all share the same unbreakable determination to hold the line at any cost.

In battle, they meet enemy charges with stoic precision before methodically driving opponents back through superior swordsmanship and disciplined coordination. Their mere presence inspires nearby Sigmarite troops to fight harder, making them both elite warriors and moral exemplars on the battlefield.

On the Battlefield

Freeguild Gallants serve as durable elite infantry that excel at holding key positions and absorbing pressure from aggressive enemies. Their combination of strong defence and reliable melee ability makes them especially valuable in prolonged battles where control of objectives is critical. In Cities of Sigmar armies, they work exceptionally well as anchors for the frontline alongside larger infantry formations and supporting units.
