The Heldrake is a Daemon Engine aircraft for Chaos armies in Warhammer 40,000.

Heldrake is a dragon-like Daemon Engine aircraft used by Chaos armies in Warhammer 40,000. These terrifying constructs soar above the battlefield, engaging enemy aircraft in brutal aerial duels.

Heldrakes hunt their prey with obsessive precision and malicious delight. Once the skies have been cleared of enemy flyers, they turn their fury upon those on the ground, diving at incredible speed to tear apart their victims with claws and flame.

The creature’s warped carapace is covered in mechanical and chaotic details, including trailing cables, interlocking wing plates, exposed wiring, and rivets. Its entire structure reflects the twisted influence of the Warp.

The Heldrake’s fanged maw houses its primary weapon. It can be armed with a Hades autocannon for ranged attacks or a baleflamer for devastating close-range assaults.

ON THE BATTLEFIELD

Heldrakes are used to establish air superiority over the battlefield.

Their speed and manoeuvrability make them formidable opponents for enemy aircraft, while their weapons allow them to attack ground targets when opportunities arise. Once they dive upon their prey, the result is often devastating.
