BOG ELEMENTAL

Formed from centuries of sodden moss, half-rotted wood, and the lingering anguish of the drowned, the peat bog elemental is a hulking mass of muck and memory. Its hide is tangled with roots and stones, slick with ancient slime, and eerily cold to the touch. From its broad back jut mummified remains, dead bodies preserved in the bog's embrace, faces still bearing the grimace of death.

Though slow, it moves with relentless purpose, guided by the dim ember of awareness born from betrayal, murder, and time. These elemental horrors often coalesce and rise from peat bogs, seeking vengeance against those who have wronged them, or sometimes blindly lashing out against the living.

The bog elemental does not speak, but it does remember.
