Ephrael Stern, also known as Daemonifuge and Thrice-born, is one of the Imperium’s most mysterious figures. Once a respected Seraphim of the Order of Our Martyred Lady, fate carried her far beyond the traditional path of the Adepta Sororitas.

At her side fights Kyganil, the enigmatic Harlequin wanderer known as The Pariah. Cast out by his own people, he has become Stern’s loyal companion and guide through some of the galaxy’s darkest secrets, including the legendary Black Library and contact with the Ynnari.
